My aunt gave my youngest (and me) these knitting looms for Christmas.
Immedietly we had to give it a try. This is great, I could not get the hang of regular knitting when I was a kid. On this loom, I am flying through!!!!
I am sure you can pick these items up at WalMart (where my aunt usually shops), JoAnn Fabrics (another favorite place of my aunt) or any craft store. However, I have provided the links to the items we received for Amazon.( **Disclaimer: all Amazon links are affiliate links. I may receive a "commission" if you purchase)

The yarn we got, I love. It's called Sweet Roll, it has 3 colors in one spool.
Here is Callie, just getting started. And its just a practice piece really. And her finished piece.
I decided to try to make a headband, to keep me warm :)
here it is about half way done.
So it took me about a week to finish. But only because I didn't work on it all the time, just a few minutes (half hour) at a time.
I used regular thread to stitch the ends together. You can use a knitting needle, but I haven't bought one yet.
Then, because I wanted that "bow" look to it, I made this piece:
and my final project looks like this:
I don't think its too bad, for my first time. However, it would have been much better if it wasn't the 3 colors, but hey, you work with what you have.
I do enjoy this, so much I've already started on another project. I will post that one when done too.
*Let me know what you think.
