Our Review of Mi Degollado

As with a lot of our Saturday nights we "went out" to Mi Degollado Mexican Restaurant. 

Only tonight we had take out,  Mike brought dinner home.

Mi Degollado is located in Charles Town, WV.  In the Gold's Gym shopping center.

Now, normally we do eat there. The staff is extremely friendly and I love it. The atmosphere is nice, not fancy, very family oriented. However, late Saturday nights quite often a large group comes in and of course takes up a large area Right in the Middle of the restaurant and they are very loud!

It can take the staff quite a while  to have our order ready though, even when the place is not busy.  Also, even when we order the same thing week to week- our bill is not the same amount week to week.  That is strange.

Tonight, as I said we had take-out.  They had the order ready very quickly, and it was waiting on us.  So that is a good thing.

Here is where things are not so good:

When we got home, we did have everything we ordered.  Yay!  

But we order 10 soft tacos,  we had 5 aluminum foil "packages" with 2 tacos each.  Sounds fine, but the tacos we basically one very large taco.  

As you can see in the picture, the cook laid out 2 shells and just filled them together.  Making one long taco.  

My fajitas did not fair much better.  I definitely did not get as much in my container as I do in the restaurant.  Oh, this time I had lots more meat than usual but I was lacking in the veggies.

We did call, they wanted us to drive back to the restaurant.  No, sorry we can't do that.  But they said that when we do come back in, we will get credit for 5 tacos!  So that's a plus.  They were willing to fix it!
